The Myco Lid Pro is a reusable jar lid designed for sterilising grain and liquid cultures in standard Wide Mouth Mason jars. Made from high-strength Delrin acetal resin, these lids are built to withstand up to 1500 minutes of steam autoclaving without rusting or warping like traditional metal lids. Each lid features integrated luer taper fittings for attaching syringe filters and injection ports, providing a modular and reliable seal for laboratory work. This design ensures consistent gas exchange and sterile inoculation points, helping achieve professional mycology made simple.

Autoclaving Instructions:

For best results, it is recommended to remove the syringe filter during steam autoclaving, as moisture can reduce the filter's porosity and airflow. If you choose to leave the filter on, ensure the jar's locking band is left a quarter-turn loose to prevent pressure buildup. The lid is rated for temperatures up to 183C (362F). Allow the autoclave to return to room temperature before opening to ensure the jars and substrate cool down evenly.
